1. There should be a draft angle at the edge of the relief or raised part, with a minimum of 10 °. As the product height increases, the draft angle also increases accordingly. The draft angle of the font should be above 15 °.
2. The ideal height for electroformed nickel signs is below 3mm, and the embossed or raised parts are within 0 Between 4 and 0.7mm.
3. The height or depth of the font shall not exceed 0.3mm. If laser effect is used, the height or depth shall not exceed 0.15mm.
4. The average thickness of the board is 0.22 ± 0.05. If the product exceeds this height, it should be made into a hollow structure and allowed to have an error of 0.05mm in product height; Due to the uniform thickness of the plate, there are also corresponding changes in the back of the raised or depressed parts on the product surface.
5. The surface effect of electroformed nickel signs can be avoided by grinding to avoid large areas of smooth surface, otherwise it is easy to cause scratches; The frosted and brushed surfaces are mostly used for the bottom surface of the nameplate, and the thickness can be adjusted; In actual production, the defect rate of frosted surface products is lower than that of brushed surface products, but the development cycle is longer. Laser surfaces are often used for fonts and patterns, as well as for the bottom surface of products.
6. The external contour of the product uses a combination of punch sand surface, wire drawing surface, smooth surface, and laser surface. Smooth surfaces are often used for patterns or edges of products, and the surface of the product should be machined. To prevent damage to the product by punching, the average width of the outer edge cut is 0.07mm. To prevent deformation during punching, it is best to ensure that the punching part is on the same plane or at a minimum arc, and to avoid concentrated force causing product deformation. Punching can only be done in the direction perpendicular to the product.
7. If the electroformed nickel tag is assembled with an embedded structure, please provide the correct size and actual sample of the casing. If the size of the nameplate is too large or too high, a supporting structure should be added to the corresponding part of the casing. The structure should meet the requirements of electroformed nickel signs, which can have different effects according to different needs. For example, copper plating: used as a base to enhance the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the electroplating layer; Nickel plating: used as a base or for appearance, to enhance corrosion resistance and wear resistance; Plating: Improve conductive contact impedance and enhance signal transmission; Plating palladium nickel: improves conductive contact impedance, enhances signal transmission, and has higher wear resistance than gold; Tin plated lead: enhances soldering ability and is quickly replaced by other substitutes.
8. If the surface of the product needs to be painted, a color sample of the metal paint should be provided. Due to process limitations, slight differences in color between the final product and the color sample should be allowed.
