Characteristics of electroformed signs

  Compared with traditional processes, it has the following obvious characteristics:

  1. The complexity and diversity of surface treatment effects;

  On the same surface, it can be processed into composite effects such as wire drawing, diamond pattern, CD pattern, sand surface, mirror surface, laser surface, three-dimensional (protrusion), etc; Compared to this, stamping can generally only be processed to the required external dimensions or limited three-dimensional effects, but it is generally unable to achieve surface texture; If product design involves complex surface effects, electroforming technology is generally used;

  2. Good wear resistance:

  The surface of electroformed signs is generally treated with chromium plating, and the hardness of chromium is extremely high, reaching HV780-910, while the hardness of stainless steel is generally between HV180-650; So many superhard cutting tools have chrome plating on their surfaces to enhance their hardness and wear resistance; The product will not undergo any appearance changes under normal use;

  3. Stable chemical properties:

  Both the substrate and surface coating of the nameplate have extremely stable chemical properties, and even in extremely humid environments, there is no need to worry about rusting; The chemical properties of chromium are not active and are stable to both oxygen and water vapor at room temperature. Chromium begins to react with oxygen above 600 ℃, but the reaction becomes slow after the surface forms an oxide film;

  4. High glossiness:

  Nickel is a highly polished metal that is an excellent substrate for electroplating chromium. Electroplated nickel, after polishing, is plated with chromium, achieving a much more perfect mirror effect than stainless steel mirror labels;
